What a great time I had with this trilogy as a whole! The 3rd book, kept me on the edge of my seat. The conversations between characters, as well as inner dialog with themselves, just kept the story moving.
The Fight & battle sequences were intense, and often quite gorish. 😳 Who knew this wouldn't bother me so much in a book? I often felt like I was just rooting for some of my favorites to have a good death in battle. I just believed if they were to die it should be with a blade of some kind in their hands. I will recommend The First Law series to anyone looking for grim dark adult fantasy.
