Confessions of a Shopaholic
by Sophie Kinsella
When you tell people you love the Shopaholic series they WILL laugh at you.
Unless they have ever read it themselves. I cannot even begin to describe the charm of these books. Sure its fluffy chick-lit, but these stories warm my heart.
Kinsella's characters are so endearing, her plots are outrageous yet at the same time relatable and I am a sucker for an awkward girl who seemingly does everything wrong, only to find out in the end that she was doing it just right.
Bridget Jones may be the quintessential brit-chick-lit, but I would argue that Shopaholic is alot better.
