Wow, what awesome little novella this was!
Katina has once again written something special here.
As murderous and barbaric as the entire book is it was interesting to read from Erik's third person perspective as if he was actually a side character in Cherine's story.
Classic Stockholm Syndrome Trope is perfect here and honestly what I would have expected those taken so violently by the Viking when they ransacked villages and ports. 

Rolls character I enjoyed a lot given his split personality, one moment gentle and caring and then hard and uncaring in the same breath.
I did not expect Ross to be the returning enemy but I am glad he got what was coming to him and at the hands of Cherine no less.

Thank you Karina for another brilliant read.
You never fail to disappoint.
