The Gentleman's Book of Vices by Jess Everlee

5.0

I devoured this book in barely two days and it might be my favorite I've read this year so far. I loved the chemistry between Miles and Charlie (they remind me of a couple of my favorite fandom OTPs so I was almost instantly on board), and while I've seen some reviews lament that it wasn't spicy enough I personally didn't feel like the story lacked in sexiness and smut at all (and I've read some *really* raunchy things before). I adore the characters and care deeply for them; I laughed and cried and loved flipping each page to see how it would end. Everyone who deserved a happy ending got one, and sometimes that's hard to find in books with queer rep. I can definitely see myself coming back to this book as a comfort of sorts, and I'm so glad to have happened upon it.
