Under the Skin: The Hidden Toll of Racism on American Lives and on the Health of Our Nation by Linda Villarosa

5.0

This book is amazing. I have often found books that discuss the giant chasm of care difference in American healthcare to be much more aggressive and, albeit appropriately, difficult to read. This book broke down the problems in small enough portions to read and consume while simultaneously making me want to tear down the barriers and support the elimination of the ‘implicit bias’ or racism as it still lives in healthcare.
