I liked the book overall but it was somewhat schmalzy in parts. It reminded me of a soap opera --the story is told from the points of of view of Clara and Nick a young married couple with two young children. For all of Nick,s talk about good communication and no secrets in a good marriage he seems to harbor many secrets. I felt myself becoming very frustrated with him not telling his wife about his life!
The book was a fast read and engaging -I wanted to see how it ended although the ending didn't tie up all the loose ends!
I liked the authors other books better.
