I enjoyed this book a great deal. The story is well developed, the characters are engaging, and the ending is wrapped up in a most satisfying manner. I’ve read quite a few of Michelle Griep’s books and this has been my favorite so far. She also does a remarkably well-balanced job of incorporating Christian themes in an overt but not at all heavy-handed way. I highly recommend this read. 

The book is part of a series but can certainly be read as a stand alone.
