The Magic Misfits: The Second Story by Neil Patrick Harris
4.0

This was so cute! It teaches readers how to do magic tricks throughout the book. It does a good job of inclusion in a variety of different ways. There’s a gay couple who adopts a Hispanic girl, a redhead girl in a wheelchair, a black boy who plays violin, a pair of mischievous twins, and a little blonde boy. There’s a nice emphasis on Morse code (with the code at the back so you can decipher it), an even mix of boys and girls as the main characters, and more! It’s just a great little book.
