I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
dark
sad
i honestly don't know how to review a book like this one. disney channel and nickelodeon shows defined all of our childhoods and growing up, you learn about the tragedies and hardships those actors went through for the sake of our happiness. but never can you anticipate the sheer heartache that is reading jennette mcCurdy's lifestory. few books get under my skin to the point where i actually have diffculty reading. even the infamous chapter 21 of the poppy war hurt my heart to read but it was nothing like the experience i had reading this. because this book is not fiction. jennette mccurdy's story is heartbreaking for many reasons, but especially how this is something that has happened to so many men and women in the world. my heart goes out to all those that could relate to the words in this book <3
