Like I always said before, anthologies are not my thing. I tend to buy them for a specific author and skip the stories that I don't find interesting.
But an anthology with stories based on Philippine myths (of which I have very little knowledge, ngl) and with illustrations by Mervin Malonzo? Yes please.
My favourites have to be 'Keeper of My Sky' a beautifully told story about Tungkung Langit and Alunsina, and the additional story (for the extended edition) 'Remembrance'. I guess that shows how romantic I am at heart, but seriously. There's no story I wanted to skip, and they were all strong and beautiful. Worth it.
