I’ve got a very love-hate relationship with this series, this novella falls in the exact middle of that, I loved the main characters but hated the insta love plotline only because it didn’t believable enough for me to actually root for the couple.
Just like in neon gods the stakes didn’t feel high enough in this book and it is hard to believe that Athena would be okay losing Medusa after having her under her fingers for 12 years.
Overall I didn’t care for the story but it did give me a better insight into the world of Neon gods.
