Read the trigger warnings first.

Other than that, I loved this book from start to finish.

Agustina Bazterrica takes you into this dystopian Argentina and through her smooth an flowy writing allows you to be in the main character's mind, memories and how he sees this new, disturbing world.
From scene number one you get to see where you are, where Marcos is, how this world works. She finds a way to build this world while letting you inside Marcos' personal life and struggle to keep his humanity and compassion.

It is such a critique to the government, corporations, big corporations and capitalism, all of that is represented - sometimes even directly - and critiqued using this canibal society as the vehicle.
It makes you think, wonder, and judge the world we live in while telling a compelling story with a twisted ending.
