The first book by a Korean author I have ever read?? I pulled it off a display shelf at the library at random and only really opened it because it’s short. I’m glad I did because yeah wow, it’s quite fascinating to hear perspectives on neoliberalism, inequality, and hypercapitalism from a country that has been through so much, and on its surface seems to be really thriving on modernisation.
