The Passing Playbook by Isaac Fitzsimons
4.0
I loved this story a lot, although I felt that the ending was too hasty and things happened too quickly.
It’s so nice to see how the relationship between Spencer and Justice blossoms as each one has to deal with their problems (Spencer is so clueless! Seriously, how can you be so dumb not to notice the vibe you have with Justice). Besides, I love watching football shine through the story.
The football team is so considerate of Spencer, and they know he has potential from the start.
It pains me to see how Justice’s family doesn’t appreciate him for who he is, and that he had to hide his secret for so many years for thinking about what they would do to him. I feel bad that he had to move away from his family and home in the end, but at least he’s fulfilling his dreams while he can have Spencer by his side (not literally).
