A Living Remedy by Nicole Chung

emotional informative reflective sad medium-paced

5.0

This is a beautiful book that seems to be a tribute to the author's parents that both died in a relatively short span of each other.  The way that Nicole wrote about them, you could feel the love that she had for them.  As a reader, you get furious at the medical system in the US that could've helped one of her parents sooner.  If you have lost a parent, I think that this book may resonate with you more.  The book did make me cry at the end.  I think that her parents would be very proud of her and I thank her for sharing her story and her parents' story.
