A story featuring multiple characters, intertwining narratives, complex relationships, and shifting perspectives? Immediate yes.

That said, this book was a slow burn. It moved at a crawling pace, jumping between a range of perspectives and settings, only to come together in a satisfying conclusion. While the ending was great, it was grueling to get there. The sheer number of characters felt overwhelming, and I honestly only cared about half of them.

It’s a well-crafted story, but one that requires patience and persistence (and I had very little of either by the time I hit 50%).
