The Wind Knows My Name by Isabel Allende
inspiring
5.0
I really enjoyed this historical/contemporary fiction and couldn’t put it down. Allende is a phenomenal writer and her prose shines strongly in this book. The connection between two terrible stories of familial separation during different times were moving and sad. During the contemporary sections, lots of information about contemporary politics was woven in. Very moving story.
