This book was so good. It portrayed OCD in a way that can make somebody with little knowledge of OCD have a bit more of an understanding of it even though it’s not explicitly called OCD in this fantasy world. It also fits well into the narrative with it being called a shadow voice along side other paranormal elements.
The story was super suspenseful and when figuring out an important piece of the plot I found myself waiting for the main character to figure it out page after page and was relieved when they did and we had the same conclusion. The book is very well written and it is quite spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️. I can’t wait to read the next one.
