This book was quite the emotional rollercoaster. I was hooked from chapter 1 and only started to lose patience during the third act breakup which was an angsty cocktail of miscommunication and immaturity from the fmc. It came together in the end though, although I would have liked to see a little more grovel from the fmc as I was still a little mad at her. Otherwise this was perfect! The smut is hooottttt. Apparently kinky sex in historical romance really does it for me….
