This was a pretty good hard sci-if book. I liked it a lot. It was VERY difficult though. There were times when the writing was incredibly dense. It was very hard to follow at some points. I didn’t like how similar some of the character names were. Liu should’ve changed that up a bit more in my opinion. The premise was fascinating. What happens when we contact another intelligent species? Should we even contact other life? Would they be friendly? Over all a good, but dense read.
