As Good As Dead is the third and final instalment of Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy, and follows Pip in the aftermath of Good Girl, Bad Blood, as she attempts to heal from the trauma her last case caused her, whilst dealing with a potential stalker that the police don’t believe exists. My favourite character was Pip, and my least favourite characters were Jason and Max. I recommend this book because I was gripped from start to finish, it brings the whole story together, I’m not even a fan of crime novels but I have been hooked to this series. SIX HUNDRED AND NINETY SEVEN DAYS?! ‘She hadn’t realised it at the time, hadn’t known what it was, but maybe some part of her had already decided she would love him.’
Graphic: Violence and Murder
Moderate: Misogyny
Minor: Sexual assault
