I have had this book on my tbr for years and I have no idea why I haven’t gotten to it until now. I’m so glad I finally got to it because this book was such an amazing ride!
The plot, the writing, the characters they are all just so amazing! You think you know what’s happening but then ahhhhh the twist!!! Totally delicious and delightfully dark and unexpected!
My favorite part are the illustrations though! They added such an intense and much needed layer to this book. I actually found myself looking forward to seeing the next one.
I wish more books would use illustrations now.
