The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe
3.0
Rebecca. Samantha. Haley. Katie. Ashley. The girls I've been. The perfect daughters to the women my mother has become to con her marks.
So I told myself that the girls I'd been before didn't matter. I learned the hard way that I was wrong.

To say that I'm surprised with this book is an understatement. I honestly did not think that this kind of writing would work in a thriller, but it did. While I'm really invested in the plot, I just think that the execution could have been better. I was bored at some parts, but the short chapters were really great. I liked that she has a very unique background and how it played out in this book. I loved getting to know about her past, but I hope that this could have been used better. The villains in the story is not really that strong and intriguing, I just think that Nora could have been used better somewhere else.
Only now did I find out that there would be an adaptation for this. So... I'm really excited to see Millie Bobby Brown in this. I think she would do great as Nora.
I'd definitely recommend this for people who love thrillers. I think they would have a better time.
