Mimi's Tales of Terror by Junji Ito
5.0
Felt like a Junji Ito and I bought this beauty a lil’ while ago so thought I’d give it a read. Loved it! Love Mimi and the stories are so creepy and cool and some actually rather fucked up. Usually i recommend people to start with the Ito I started on- Shiver but I think this could be a good introduction to Ito too. I know it’s not his original work but it’s still very much Ito and I think all the horror/goth girlies would love this one. The covers are absolutely stunning, both the slip cover and hardcover. Really do want to read more Ito and read some of the original works that he has adapted too. Keen to do some horror classics too this year, I’m feeling the horrors for the chilly seasons
