The official handbook of Financial Peace University shouldn't be surprising to anyone who's already familiar with Dave Ramsey. Using his common man approach, Ramsey lays out his relatively simple system for getting out of debt and living like no one else. Ramsey correctly uses the book to lay out more of the specifics of his plan than the course's engaging videos do. While the videos are great motivational tools, the book gives you the details to take action. If you want to know how to start taking charge of your financial life, no matter your station in life, this is a good place to start.
