At some point I though this book deserves a solid 2,5-3 ⭐️ and I still think it does … how is this whole series a best sellers and beloved I’ll never know . The cover is cool
Tho nothing to do with the book but then again I Dnf at 40% .

The h was funny her family was funny but a bit caricatural
Of the token black all strong females cast but still funny and smart nonetheless .

The book didn’t make much sense tbh at 40% she talks about how she sacrifices so much and got married to him ( her own choice ) and was gonna have a baby with him ( again her own fully aware choice she volunteered ) even tho she knows he doesn’t want one but only needs one to become CEO which doesn’t make sense knowing that she has daddy issues and was abandoned and felt rejected by her own abusive father … I don’t see what’s there to talk about for 400+ pages as well … if at 187 their relationship is already taking a turn in the romance department why the need for 300 extra pages ? To talk about what ?

Really anything that is booktock sensation or approved is a testament to bad bad written books .
