His & Hers
by Alice Feeney
Anna Andrews was living her dream of being a news anchor for the BBC. When her colleague returns from maternity leave, Anna is relegated to one the scene newscaster. Her first assignment is covering a murder in Blackdown.
DCI Jack Harper is called in to investigate a murder in his village of Blackdown and recognizes the victim. As the case progresses, Jack becomes a suspect.
A psychological thriller told in alternating chapters from the perspective of Anna, Jack and the killer. Richard Armitage did a fantastic job narrating Jack's side of the story. While the book kept me listening at every opportunity, I just found it hard to believe the twist at the end. Psychological thrillers that do not have a feasible plot are a deal breaker for me and parts of this book hit that wall.
A huge thank you to NetGalley for the complimentary audiobook!
