“Your childhood friends are the ones you should hang on to. They know you in a way nobody else does.”
“Did you do great things today?”
I thought if I read it a second time, I wouldn’t sob so hard. I was so very wrong.
I don’t think I’ve ever sobbed so hard reading a book. But it took me right back to loosing my dad and moments I had forgotten about. It brought it all back and made it all real. But minus the snot filled tissue this is an incredibly beautiful book and worth the headache I know have from my blubbery mess of tears.
