If one thing this book has taught me, it is to follow my gut instinct, which is to avoid this genre. I knew going into this that the romance, true love genre is not for me, but the synopsis enticed me, so I went for it. Even if this is your favorite type of story, this one is mediocre at best.
Fallon, a childhood actress who is now 18 meets Ben, an aspiring writer, also 18, in a bit of a strange circumstance on the day she is moving from LA to NYC. They spend the day together and hit it off, but she leaves for NYC. They decide to spend every 11/9 together for the next five years and this book is written in increments of each of those meet ups. Interesting concept for a book but executed poorly with a very juvenile writing style (at one point Ben says "I love you more than I love your boobs"... Cringe
