I saw so many of my mutuals talking about this series on twitter. (I think the last book came out) And I decided to check it out!
I had no idea what this was about going in and I was surprised to see that it involved COWBOYS? Also it took me at least 30% in the book to realize that Rhett was a professional bull rider, not a professional MECHANICAL bull rider. I forgot riding actual real live bulls were a thing. I would have finished this a lot faster but the final book in this one trilogy just came out, so I had to put her on a momentary pause.
I absolutely loved Summer in this! I knew I was going to love her when she kept gaving subtle hints about what happened to her as a child. And Rhett? ...Wow... "You wear the hat, you ride the cowboy." I gasped reading that at the dinner table. Never imagined I would fall for a bull-riding cowboy, but never say never.
I can't wait to read all the books in the Chestnut Springs series! Elsie Silver is working her way up my fav authors list!
