I felt like the book could have been shorter and I would have been happier. Sometimes it was a bit long. I was a bit disappointed

when the detective and the father of the victim got together. It felt really unnecessary. I thought they had good chemistry as friends and respected colleagues. A bit disappointing.

overall, I thought it tied well together in the end. I’m going to read some more by him.
