Another great addition to the Oil Knights series. I am finding I like the seasoned or later in life characters. It brings some realism to the romance world. Second chances are one of my favorite tropes, and Austen and Vienne deserve theirs.
Austin has returned home, but rather than the family ranch, he chooses a project in a old farmhouse. Vienne is a local, has been the topic of local gossip over the years, but now is doing her best to raiser her daughter and build her design business. While Austine and V make a great team in the renovation of his farmhouse, with they cross the line? The development of their friendship is slow, and Austin is what we all want in our partner: a patient person and a good listener.
Austin and Vienne have a great story; broken hearts are healed, and family ties are strengthened.
