This was an entirely new world and adventure from Ruby but felt like her Aspect and Anchors series. It was a slight slow burn, enemies to lovers, different worlds/ people story. I enjoyed it more than some of her recent IPB but not as much as her other fantasy books. With that said, it’s still a solid 5 star read and I think if you like Ruby Dixon, scifi romance mixed with fantasy, or low level monster romance then you’ll really like this one.
