In read this book because it is a classic & often referred to by other media. I wanted to know what was in the book, the story and the themes. I did not like this book. I did not like how the party treated its people and the extents they went through to control people. I disliked how they encouraged hate, angry and fear and did everything to destroy love, trust and compassion.
