I enjoy a good romance, and find Elle Kennedy doesn’t disappoint! Despite there being clear romance tropes that come into play (who doesn’t love a good romance trope though?), I always find myself surprised by how attached I get to the characters as they are developed on the page. I didn’t expect to like Dean at all, given his general personality as shown in the previous books, yet I found myself swooned by him on several occasions. I also appreciate how the characters show their ages from time to time - it reads much more realistic in some ways than a lot of romances do. I’m definitely going to be finishing this series and finding more to read by Elle Kennedy!
