I desperately wanted to know whyyy these two loved each other, and whyyyy they had to keep killing each other, enough that I kept flipping pages and finished in record time, but at one point like 3/4 in I thought about throwing the book across the room, when the twist was revealed. Yes, everything answered in time, but it was not as satisfactory as I'd hoped. Also they've loved each other in a thousand lives and yet at one point I told Matt, "this doesn't have enough banging in it." Entertaining, and mostly well-written (though the ending is kind of uneven and a lot of it is pretty angsty).
