This wee book was an absolute joy to read. I laughed, I cried and, sometimes, I wanted to scream in frustration and fling the book across the room to be honest.

The first third of this book wasn’t bad but I was just slightly disappointed. I just felt that some parts were a bit confusing, introducing new objects or conversation points which hadn’t been talked about before but sounded like they’d been already mentioned. I also felt that the section could have been developed more. It definitely wasn’t awful to read, just was slightly disappointed because a bit more could have been done.

However, the rest of the book was brilliant and I sped through it in a few hours. I loved following along this love story and experiencing Olive and Adam’s character development.

I really loved the focus on science throughout. This definitely wasn’t your typical love story, this was a story of two well-educated, determined and focused individuals who took part in the most unlikely scheme and fell in love.

I really wish this book was just longer and had been developed more, I didn’t want this book to end!

This was a lovely wee read and I would recommend it to everyone, it was a real joy and experience.

I can’t wait to read more of Ali Hazelwood’s books, I loved this mix of science and romance.
