I had no idea what I was getting into, didn't know where the story would go. I haven't read a lot if books like this. Three different writing styles, three different timelines. This sometimes took me out of the story, having to adjust to the writing. But it was beautiful, and the ability to use so many styles speaks of great talent. The story itself was good. No complaints. I was curiuous where it was going the entire time. If I have one complaint it's about the cover: why are Reggie and Maeve on there?! Their parts have the least amount of "screen"time. It should have been Levi and Vega on the cover! It bothered me so much while reading. Also I hate nooks in which
beloved animals die
I really loved Ezi's character. Complex.
