Counsellor by Celia Aaron
4.0
Rated 4.5 Stars
Going in I wasn't sure what to expect but from the very first word Counsellor had me enthralled, the premise intrigued and enticed me and the main characters sealed my fate I was completely and unequivocally in love.
Sin is very reminiscent of the Beast from Beauty and the Beast but his beastly nature is not in his appearance but his actions. I'm not going to lie he does a number of things that by all means should make him unlikeable but it doesn't, I couldn't help but be utterly charmed by him. Stella on the hand appears as if she might be weak, a pushover but nothing could be further from the truth, she's got fire, spunk and is pretty feisty. She is definitely a match for Sin. While I didn't like all the decisions she made I found her a very likeable character.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
