Re-read in 2024 and wow I loved it so much that I just breezed through it like before....
I didn't remember most of it and that made it special.

Well here is my review from years ago
------------------------------------------------------------------
After the first book I practically breezed through this book, the plot, characters, landscape and the world were so clear by now and the connections made were wonderful. The fact that the descriptions aren’t repeated too much and the book focuses mainly on the story is what I love the most. Kalen is wow!! I am completely smitten by his love and strength towards our lovely Tea, Fox is an everlasting warmth no matter how dire the circumstance is. This book was a treat to my craving soul for more of this world stories, it isn’t only about the book and its story, the emotions are powerful. I felt that I was in that magical world, with the power of rune magic, I felt the battles fought, I felt trying to connect to the daeva, I could feel each and every emotion in a true sense.

I absolutely love it when there is a tale within a tale that needs to be complexed with our original plot so that the characters can find some use of it. The fact that there is a powerful yet mysterious hidden enemy is interesting, and that all the words in the world would not be enough to explain the happiness and bliss of reading this series is painful. I cried, tears of sadness and happiness while I read this book, I treasure the characters more, and a lot of landscape was introduced yet again which I loved a lot. the different timelines are also a treat and never made me irritated because each chapter has perfect breaks.

I loved it!!
