On the Origins of Sports: The Early History and Original Rules of Everybody's Favorite Games by Neil Fine, Gary Belsky

3.0

3-stars is for the physical copy of the book since I find it nice to have on a bookshelf as something of brief interest to different people based on their sport of choice. The illustrations are also decent for the hardcover version. There's only a few pages of the history of the sport and then the original rules listed out, so it's not the type of book you read through all at once but more of a fun reference material for sports fans. For that use case I like it well enough.
