All books of this series start with dubious consent but it was more circumstancial. This one isn't with one of the MC is blackmailing the other one for sexual services.
To be fair, Blake isn't very likeable and though I wouldn't say he really deserves it, he doesn't seems that bothered by it. He even seems to enjoy it, against everything he believed he was, and we are in his head the whole time so it isn't misinterpretation. And he does from the beginning so not Stockholm either. I think he is a submissive even though he is an Alpha. He clearly is a brat and accepting his submissive nature is against everything he was thaught.
I think this book is missing a dimension to be good. I would have like to see Decland more caring in the way he gave Blake what he needed. Their relationship was so lacking in that regard, it was disappointing and borderline abusive. This could have been a great story if we felt Decland love for Blake from the start.
