I found all the portions of this book that took place off the ship, incredibly compelling. However, as soon as she was on the ship, I quickly lost interest. There's A LOT of details about being out to sea, sailing, and more. Clearly, Adrienne Young has done some incredibly detailed research. I can see why others enjoy this book, but it simply was not my cup of tea.
