The Runaway Jury by John Grisham
3.0
mysterious tense slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

An entertaining enough read, which keeps you guessing about what the motives are of the key characters. However it does feel a bit dated reading about a tobacco industry lawsuit in 2025. I have to say this is one case where I feel the film is better than the book, in no small part for updating the subject of the lawsuit to be against the gun industry which feels like it gives greater weight and relevance to the trial.
