The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley

Lucy Foley has managed to write two novels with the exact same story and some how made one phenomenally worse than the other.
Honestly, I’m not sure if I liked the Guest List more than The Hunting Party because it’s actually better or because I read it first.
This story not only had the most insufferable group of friends but also a subpar plot.
The twist at the end was good but no different than the twist of The Guest List: the most unlikely person is the killer and the most unlikeable person was the victim with many different fingers pointed in both directions throughout the story.
I will give it to Lucy Foley though. She knows how to leave breadcrumbs in the right place to make you go “huh.. yeah that makes sense”.
A generous 3 stars.
