The Last Emperox by John Scalzi
4.0

True to form, Scalzi’s trilogy wraps up satisfyingly, with plenty of laughs, lots of ‘splosions and unexpected reveals, and an apparition (so to speak!) If the second book was weak (in my humble opinion) this one makes up for that by being *lots of fun* and (did I mention) satisfying. I previously remarked, in my brief review of the second book, that we needed more Kiva. So, it must be said, without saying anything specific, we get enough [expletive]-ing Kiva Lagos. All told, this was another fun Scalzi action-sf novel that reads quick and doesn’t fail to deliver on an emotional level.
