Twenty-three-year-old Noah Baker wants to be a famous comedian in a serious relationship by the time he is 30. When his sister gets engaged, though, he decides it’s time to give up his comedy dream and to ask his best friend/longtime crush Drew to be his date to his sister’s wedding. During the wedding, he gets a call asking him to fill in last-second for a famous comedian. He nails his set, but he has disappointed his family and best friend. Noah makes a desperate wish to skip ahead to “the good part of his life” on some magic healing crystals he received as a wedding favor. When he wakes up, he is 30 years old and a successful comedian about to tape his first special, but none of his family or friends are talking to him. Unsure where else to turn, Noah tries to get Drew to stop hating him and help him figure out a way back to the night of his sister’s wedding. Will he find his way back or learn to make a life here?

I loved the movie 13 Going on 30, so I definitely had to pick up this book as soon as I read the description! The book has similar vibes while being its own distinct story and kept me entertained as I read it. Drew was my favorite character; I wish I could visit his bookstore! I liked watching Noah grow as a person and become someone who deserves Drew. I absolutely recommend checking out this rom com!

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.
