The older I get, the more I don't get excited by this trope - the dominant, alpha male MMC "forcing" the FMC to do sexual acts. (Or maybe I am just not in the mood for this trope right now)
Anyway, the blurb pretty much says it all. There were twists by the end of the book that made me kind of curious to see how the story goes in the next books but honestly, I just don't think it is worth my time... right now. Maybe in the future.
Summary: FMC is screwed by her dead, cheating husband by putting her family business/legacy as collateral for a huge loan from the boogeyman of New Orleans AKA Lachlan Mount who wants to own her in exchange for payment.
