Flagrant Foul - Jesse H Reign
5/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

Whenever Jesse comes out with a new book, I just know I’m going to love it. She has yet to disappoint me when I discovered her last year.

First off, Mae is probably one of the best side characters I’ve ever read in a long while. This little elderly lady is a hoot. When she comes into the picture to take care of Teddy’s fish since he’s away a lot being a hockey player, I knew she was going to be a whirlwind from their first interaction.

I really love how we go back from the past and then to the present time because it lets you see how they progress as people and their relationship.

I loved the part where Ragnar kept on following Teddy. I loved that scene so much. His fish was finally warming up to him and Sev was able to witness such a special moment.

This is definitely one of my favorite brother’s best friend romances. Jesse just knows exactly how to deliver are the angst, the pining and man, the betrayal when brother dearest does find out, but he slowly knew it was bound to happen. These two just couldn’t stay away from one another as much as they tried. Sev tried so hard but he just couldn’t stop even if he did try.

Out of all the books in this series, this one is my favorite. I also love that we got to see the other cameos from her other books. I loved every moment of this book!

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
