The Only One Left by Riley Sager

5.0

Even the beginning kept me interested in reading ahead. The way it was written, the character names, the mannerisms/conflicts of each of them. THEN the actual thrilling bits started happening and it was a page turner like no other. I haven't read a book that kept me this involved and on the edge of my seat in FOREVER. I was thinking about this story all day at work, all day at Thanksgiving dinner, it was brutal to be away from it. I was obsessed. There were brief feelings of disappointment when I finally thought I had the plot twist predicted, but I was NEVER right and nothing about this was predictable (to me) in the slightest bit. The last little bit that I can't even mention because it would spoil it... THAT was weird I'm not sure I like that with the rest of the story, but I JUST finished it probably 2 minutes ago. I'll sit on it for a couple days and see what I remember and how my feelings change. For now, I absolutely loved it. It was so good and definitely bummed Riley Sager up into my favorite automatic-buy authors.
